Little Sheep for Chinese Hot Pot
FoodGroup is back from a holiday hiatus with a balm for LA's bitter cold.
Join us at Little Sheep restaurant in Monterey Park for Chinese Medicinal Hot Pot. Herbs and spices fill a cauldron of bubbling broth where you'll dip meats, vegetables, and noodles. Additional ingredients available for the daring.
Though there are no promises for its medicinal properties, my first visit restored a hoarse voice.

When: Sunday, January 30 at 1pm
Directions: Go on 10-East past Downtown LA. Take the Atlantic Blvd exit towards Monterey Park, it's the first sharp turn off the freeway. (The next turn off the freeway will take you north on Atlantic toward Alhambra.) Go south on Atlantic and turn left on Garvey Ave, then into first shopping plaza on the right, just past the gas station on the corner. Little Sheep is behind the gas station, to your right as you enter the parking lot.
